Number of Bottles

Deep and dark, but never brooding. Like a big brawny weightlifter with a PhD in Art History, don’t judge this book by its cover. Mysterious yet welcoming, with flashes of toasted oak, graphite, and spicy white pepper shining through untouched forest floor. Blackberries plums, and dates dance on the palate but this is less about fruit and more a study in finesse and feel.

THE STORY BEHIND THE WINE

CROSSWINDS

Back and forth seemed exciting at first. Sparkling drinks in the sky, drivers and fancy meals in London of all places. You’re not supposed to say no, regardless of what you have to give up. Never be weak, always make it look easy even if it hurts. This is what he learned, but no one ever told him.

Weeks turned to months, and a year later he could barely grasp the pieces as they fell around him. He lost more than he gained, like a gambler stuck in a spiral. Emptiness.

What he remembers was a blur, chapters with names and numbers, but blank pages in between. It was hard to close, they called him back. He had to find another way. The last chapter was blank and this time he’d take his chips and walk.
