Number of Bottles

Rich and buttery with a bright lemon zest edge, this versatile chardonnay checks all the boxes. Baked apple blends with fresh, tart McIntosh flavours on the palate while waves of toasted walnut, honey, and a hint of vanilla flow together for a finish that just keeps building glass after glass. THE STORY BEHIND THE WINE

PALOLEM

If you can find it, it’s more beautiful than they say. Ironic, though, that the way there is on a crowded bus down a dusty road. Hot and humid hours. A twisting walk through the narrow alleys of a shantytown down a slope without a path. You can’t believe your eyes. A flawless beach. A cove tempering the fierce ocean.

Beach huts tended to by pleasant locals, filled with foreigners. Life feels easy. Late mornings, delicious food, endless happy hour. The soundtrack of waves and warm wind kissing the landscape.

Looking back, the tropical trees hide the way of life off the beach. The road home seems longer every day. Paradise can be sinister, convincing you to forget your other life. It’s no surprise that some people never leave.
