Number of Bottles

A luscious, decadent Rosé of Pinot Noir that slinks onto the palate like a swathe of satin, running laps around your average pink patio-pounder.

A wine of great backbone and texture, it draws you in with a sprinkle of white flower petals on the nose before taking a spirited turn and diving headfirst into a bowl of sublime summer strawberries and freshly whipped cream. Weighty but never heavy, fruit flavours of white grape and fresh peach expand on the palate, all tied together with a (metaphorical) drizzle of caramel and lengthy, expressive finish.

As brilliantly as Better Days pairs with anything from Thai curry to Greek salad to grilled octopus, we recommend sipping at least one glass meditatively with your eyes closed while daydreaming about diving into a pool of it.

THE STORY BEHIND THE WINE

BETTER DAYS

Fresh air felt like a luxury, sneaking an unimpeded breath was exhilarating. Winter seemed to drag on for longer than usual. On again, and then off. The finish line perpetually being pushed further. Dark for too long, we comforted loss without touch. Sympathy from afar.

Always hopeful, blue flowers poked through the ground against the odds. Unshrouded faces emerged. Together we persevered and now, embrace light as the tunnel finally ends.

All we missed, now we celebrate. Small things feel significant, maybe they always were. An important reminder amongst the chaos. Unsure of our destiny, but convinced and eager for what we missed.

Better days, I’m sure.
